Tyler has been around since 1846 and is most widely known as the "Rose Capital of the World" due to the large quantity of rose bushes processed through the area, along with hosting America's largest rose garden. Tyler has a dedicated airport with two servicing airlines that offer non-stop flights to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Bush Intercontinental--Houston (IAH)


Tyler is located 100 miles Southeast of Dallas and serves as the nexus of several major highways making it easily accessible from wherever you find yourself.


Is there shuttle service to and from the Airport?

Tyler Pounds Regional Airport does not offer a ground shuttle service to and from the airport.  Some Tyler hotels offer transportation to and from the Airport, please check with your hotel. There are rental cars available at the Airport. Another option is to arrange for a Taxi.

What’s the dress code for the conference?

We’ll be casual! Throughout the day we’ll do a little bit of walking so dress comfortably.

Who is involved in MBird Tyler?

MBird Tyler is a conference inspired by the work of Mockingbird Ministries and is put on as a collaboration of local churches, businesses and movers and shakers. Click here for a full list of our partners.

Where is the Mbird Tyler conference held?

The conference will be held across a small campus of local businesses, churches and venues in Downtown Tyler. We’ll have maps available and our MBird team will be around to point you in the right direction.

What time did the conference begin and end?

The conference kicks off Friday afternoon at 4pm and will end Saturday at 4pm.

What is the registration cost?

Registration cost is $50 per individual or $90 per couple.

Do you offer scholarships?

What’s included in the cost of conference?

The registration cost covers all speaking sessions as well as a speaker book, Friday night dinner and beer tasting.
